We are excited to announce the launch of custom watermarking on SpacePixel, an essential feature designed to protect your astrophotography while preserving the visual appeal of your gallery.

What is new?

1. Automatic watermark application

   • All newly uploaded images will now include a watermark

   • Watermarks will appear on your public profile and high-resolution versions displayed in the Explore page

   • This ensures a consistent and secure presentation of your work across SpacePixel

2. Customization Options

   • You can upload your unique watermark in PNG or JPEG format, ensuring compatibility with your personal branding

   • You can replace it with an updated design or remove it completely if needed

3. Thumbnail Exclusion

   • To maintain an aesthetically pleasing user experience, resized thumbnails will remain watermark-free

Things to note

• Watermarks are non-removable once applied to an image. This ensures the integrity of your uploads

• The watermarking process applies to all new images uploaded after an watermark upload. Previously uploaded images will remain unaffected

• If your wish to change your watermark, updates will apply only to subsequent uploads
